CURRENT PROJECTS

FMG Ironbridge Project – North Star Airport

The FMG Ironbridge magnetite project has started stage 2 of development and aims to deliver ore in the first half of 2022. GE Surveys has been appointed to provide surveying services to constructed the airport and terminal earthworks. Having worked on several airports previously, our expertise will be utilized on this fast moving project.

CBH – Watheroo Grain Storage Facility

This upgrade to the existing storage facility includes an additional two open bulk heads and a conveyor, Watheroo becomes the fourth CBH site GE Surveys has been acquired to provide all the surveying requirements for.

PAST PROJECTS

Anglo Gold Ashanti – Sunrise Dam Airport Pavement Rehabilitation

GE Surveys has been engaged by WBHO to urgently provide surveying for the pavement upgrade of the existing Sunrise Dam airport in Laverton, Western Australia. Working to a tight time schedule and even tighter tolerances, precise surveying methodologies and equipment is ensuring this project a successful completion.

Water Corp – City of Perth Upgrades

GE Surveys has been involved with the City of Perth water main upgrade project for the past 5+ years. Our database of surveyed pipe includes over 30km of water mainline, this information has been captured inside 200+ as-constructed drawings DMS’d to the Water Corporation.

CBH – McLevie Storage Facility Upgrade

One of three CBH upgrade projects running simultaneously that GE Surveys provided all aspects of survey for. This large earthworks civil project involved the construction of six additional open bulk-heads, weighbridge, e-pits, conveyors and a sample hut at the existing McLevie yard in Dalwallinu. Machine guidance technology was implemented by WBHO to ensure all operators experienced little downtime, this increased productivity and made it possible for this large site to be managed by a sole surveyor.

Curtin University – Main Street Project

The Curtin University main street road project involved construction of a road and landscape with a high finish through a large operating University with extensive underground service installation.

Horizon Power – Onslow Power Station & Solar Farm

Set to be the home of Australia’s largest distributed energy resource (DER) microgrid, GE Surveys has provided survey for the initial two stages. Once complete the Onslow (DER) microgrid aims to achieve a high level of renewable energy throughout the town.
